Hello Tuko Green Family,

Welcome to the movement!

We’re excited to finally launch our blog so that we can share engaging content made just for you.

We’re aware of the scarcity of the right data or easily accessible information (in Kenya particularly), and the doom and gloom that surrounds issues of climate change and the environment. That’s why we want to bring this knowledge straight to you and your community.

Our aim is to make change less complex and more fathomable which in the long-term is more sustainable for us and the environment. We want everyone to have a chance to take part in these changes from kids, adults, families to businesses.

Our dream is to create a world where people coexist with nature, live intentional and fulfilling lives that are sustainable for us, our future generations and the planet.

We shall cover topics such as climate change, sustainability, minimalism and intentional living, environmental and wildlife conservation, sanitation and water, renewable energy, consumer behavior, responsible production and consumption, sustainable cities, green building, ethical fashion and agriculture and so on. There’s lots of topics that need demystifying and understanding, and we’re here to learn and converse together for the greater good of the planet. Remember, there’s no PLANet B.

Wendell Berry once said, “we have lived our lives by the assumption that what was good for us would be good for the world. We have been wrong. We must change our lives so that it will be possible to live by the contrary assumption, that what is good for the world will be good for us. And that requires that we make the effort to know the world and learn what is good for it.” And we agree.
